What is Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund? Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund Board provides services to Punjab government employees since 1960. The Punjab Benevolent Fund Board is a governmental organization supporting the serving and retired provincial government employees as well as widows/ children of deceased government servants across the province. All the services are under under the provisions of The Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund Ordinance, 1960.

Government has revised rates for Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund Marriage Grant on 19-01-2019, below you can check old rates as well as new rates, according type of employee. new

Gazetted Employees:

  • A government servant while in service and for 15 years after his/her retirement will get Rs. 150,000 [Previously it was Rs. 40,000]
  • The family of retired government servant in case his/ her death occurs within 15 years of retirement for the unexpired period of 15 years from the date of retirement will also get Rs. 150,000 [Previously it was Rs. 50,000]
  • The family of a government servant, who dies while in service with no time limit to an invalidated retired government servant will also get Rs. 150,000 [Previously it was Rs. 50,000]
  • For 15 years from the date of retirement, in case of his/ her death, within 15 years of retirement – to his/ her family for the unexpired period of 15 years from the date of retirement will also get Rs. 150,000 [Previously it was Rs. 50,000]

Non-Gazetted Employees:

  • A government servant while in service and for 15 years after his/ her retirement will get Rs. 100,000 [Previously it was Rs. 15,000]
  • To the family of retired government servant in case his/ her death occurs within 15 years of retirement for the unexpired period of 15 years from the date of retirement will get Rs. 100,000 [Previously it was Rs. 20,000]
  • To the family of a government servant who dies while in service with no time limit will get Rs. 100,000 [Previously it was Rs. 20,000]
  • To an invalidated retired government servant for 15 years from the date of retirement. For 15 years from the date of retirement, in case of his/ her death, within 15 years of retirement – to his/ her family for the unexpired period of 15 years from the date of retirement will get Rs. 100,000 [Previously it was Rs. 20,000]

How to Apply for Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund Marriage Grant?

Read carefully following instructions & attach attested copies of documents mentioned below.

Employees of Punjab government download application form and get attested by their department’s head and submit to Respective Deputy Commissioner (DC) or District’s Benevolent Fund Board Office. (Click here to download application)

What instructions & documentation is required for application submission?

  1. It’s compulsory to submit application with in 3 years after marriage, after that period no application will be accepted.
  2. It’s mandatory for application to be submitted in Benevolent Fund Board through respective department.
  3. Attested copy of applicant’s CNIC.
  4. Attested copy of newly married daughter’s CNIC or Birth Certificate issued by Union Council.
  5. Nikah Nama
  6. Nikah Registration Certificate by NADRA (Computerized Nikah Nama) attested copy.
  7. Applicant’s computerized salary slip as a proof of BF deduction.
  8. In case of retired employee, attach attested copy of retirement order or PPO.
  9. In case of died employee, attach attested copy of in-service Death Certificate. Moreover, also attach verified family members list, that can prove the blood relation of newly married female to died employee.
  10. Applicant’s contact number.
  11. Attested copy of guardian certificate by court (in case of died or divorced).

  1. Marriage grant application , marriage k bad kitnay time period tk submit kra sktay hain.. What are the conditions?
    And is it for daughter only?

      All conditions are clearly mentioned at this page.
      Yes it’s only for daughters

      1. Sir it was announced earlier this year that special scholarship of Rs 100000(50000+50000)will be granted on getting marks above 90% but I ve received tha amount of Rs50000 instead of Rs 100000.Could u explain why?
