Government of Punjab recently announced Benevolent Fund Educational Scholarships 2020. Furthermore, all the Employees of Punjab Government can apply for this scholarships for their studying children.
Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund (BF) Board provides services to Punjab government employees since 1960. The Punjab Benevolent Fund Board is a governmental organization supporting the serving & retired provincial government employees as well as widows / children of deceased government servants across the province. All the services are under under the provisions of The Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund Ordinance, 1960.
Who can Apply for Benevolent Fund Educational Scholarships 2020?
The Provincial Benevolent Fund Board invites applications for Educational Scholarships for the year of 2020. All those students can apply for the Benevolent Fund Educational Scholarships 20202, whose father or mother is/was an employee of Punjab government (Whether, in-service, retired or died).
Eligibility Criteria for Benevolent Fund Educational Scholarships 2020
Only two children of Punjab government’s in-service, retired or died employees can apply for the scholarship. In addition, applicant student must have passed his/her matric or higher exam with 60% marks & is registered in next class.
💡 Though, if any student is studying in special education intuition. In such case, three children can apply for this scholarship.
Similarly, three children also of died or retired disable employees can apply this scholarship. Moreover, children of died or retired disable employee can also apply for primary to matric scholarships.
According to Reference No. BF-68/11 Dated 07-09-2019, if both father & mother are Punjab government’s employee, they both (mother & father) can apply for their each child, individually.
How to Apply for Benevolent Fund Educational Scholarships 2020?
In order to submit application form, you’ve to go through few easy steps, as under;
💡 1. You’ve to download application form & after getting application form’s print, get attested by your department’s head. Submit following offices via department’s head.
💡 NOTE: Application on Old Form will not be Accepted! You can download new application form at the end of this page or Click Here to Download New Application Form.

Required Documentation with Application Form
Following attested copies must be attached with application form:
- Copy of Student’s CNIC or B-form
- CNIC Copy of both father & mother, in case of death, copy of guardian’s CNIC
- December 2019 Salary slip of in-service employees, while retired employee attach a copy of pension book (PPO)
- Student’s result card issued for the year of 2019 by board or university (Copy downloaded from internet is not acceptable)
- All other document’s attested copies, unattested copies are not acceptable.

Current Educational Scholarships Rates – Granted to the Children of Government Servants (Rates Updated on 19-01-2019)
The revised Educational Scholarships Rates for Benevolent Fund Educational Scholarships are as under;

Furthermore, you can also check the new revised scholarships rates, as well as, old rates, in the following officially issued notification.
💡 Note: Instead of normal rates, a special scholarship of Rs 50,000, will be awarded to the high achievers i.e. children securing 90% or more marks in any examination (Matriculation or above).
Last Date to Submit Application Form: [Extended upto 30-04-2020]
Last Date of Application Submission is extended upto 30-04-2020, du to COVID-19 Pandemic.
Submit scholarship application form by hand or through post was 31-03-2020, but, now it’s extend upto 30-04-2020. Applications received after 30-04-2020 will not be entertained.

In The last year they had a place to fill that how much amount is demanded in column number 20 of punjab benevolent form but now in year 2020 they removed this option …..Now what?…..how do we tell the demanded amount?

I am Non-gazette employee of Punjab Government. My son has been study in DPT (Doctor of Physiotherapy) in private institute affiliated with University of Sargodha. The result of the DPT (Ist year) will be announce in May, 2020. Whereas, the last date of submission of scholarship form is 31.03.2020. Concerned officials of Benevolent branch are reluctant to receive the incomplete (without result card) form. Please inform about the policy/rules in this regard.

First of all, application submission deadline was extended upto 30-04-2020, due to COVID-19 Pandemic. Secondly, normally, scholarships amounts are released in the month of Sep/Oct. Last one is just a rumor, all the approved applicants will must receive their amounts.

Hopefully you are doing well. I am student of MS. I have done my BS which is a 4 year program. According to new amendment, one cannot apply beyond 16 years of education. I have read some comments, you are saying eligible to people doing M-phill. I did not get that.
